Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our sales team. As an SDR at Sappy, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by identifying and generating new business opportunities. You will be responsible for reaching out to potential customers, understanding their needs, and qualifying leads to build a robust sales pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Experience: Provide a great experience for Sappy's prospective customers, engaging with them to assess mutual fit.
- Engagement: Engage with potential and current customers to understand their needs and build relationships.
- Pipeline Building: Work closely with Account Executives to build pipelines and drive deals.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of our product and its value to customers.
- Customer Acquisition: Demonstrate an ability to attract new customers through effective outreach and engagement.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with other functions to improve business processes and enhance efficiency.
- Team Development: Engage in team development and mentoring activities to foster a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a sales development or similar role, preferably in a tech or SaaS company.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with potential customers.
- Driven: Highly motivated and goal-oriented with a strong desire to succeed.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Team Player: A collaborative team player who can also work independently when required.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
